The Jefferson nickel collection can be a fun one to put together. You can make it... like most collections what ever you want it to be. From 1938 to date with all types and Varities MS & Proof s or just filling a Whitman nickel book up. As a right coaster "East Coast" we always had a problem getting not so much D Mint marks but the S mint marks. I believe you are looking for and I may be wrong is just filling up a Whitman nickel folder. If this is the case it's not that costly. You can pick up most for under a dollar many cheaper in MS. The proofs will cost more but nothing crazy. Unless you choose to expand your collection to types & varieties. IE the 1997 p matte finish Jefferson only 25,000 minted in MS-66 price $250.00 You may wish to pick up the Whitman Red Book a guide book of Buffalo & Jefferson Nickels A must for the Jefferson Collector.
