There is a huge difference Bob. 99% of the time any coin bought from a dealer will be sent to in a soft vinyl flip like those you describe. Problem is, those flips contain PVC which can and will be very harmful to your coins. So they should be removed and placed into a new holder the moment you get them.

Now there are some 2x2 holders like those you are using that also have PVC - and they must be avoided as well. What I suggest you do is do a search on this forum for the word "storage". You will find countless threads discussing the subject and telling you what you should do to properly store your coins.
