Got some NEW 100% acetone and a clean ceramic saucer. Placed the coin at an angle so I got the most exposure to the acetone, covered it up with another saucer after submerging it and put it out in the garage overnight to soak.
Well, of course it was all evaporated by this morning. duh.
Refilled the saucer for a few hours again this morning. Retrieved it: Took some pictures.
Now it looks like a stained rusted bad plancet with less glue on it.
