Guess im Stupid!!!!

Ok Everyone. I KNOW ALOT OF USERS USE EXCEL FOR INVENTORY OF COINS BUT IM CONFUSED. NOT BEING ALL THAT FAMILIAR WITH EXCELL HOW DO I GO ABOUT STARTING A INVENTORY/DATABASE OF MY COINS?? CAN ANYONE HELP?
