This is one of the nicest and most inexpensive of all gold overdates. As much as 1/4 of the total mintage were struck from dies that received blows from both 1908 and 1909 hubs.

You should be able to pick up a good looking AU for only a little more than a normal date.

There was an article in Coin World about 3 years ago on this variety.
