Now that's pretty clear isn't it ? And to argue that a camera is numismatically related - well, it's so obvious I don't think we even need to discuss it.
And Toad - ya know, Peter and I don't just sit here and wait for messages to come in so we can answer them. You sent me your PM at 12:21 yesterday afternoon and I answered it today before 8 AM. I'd say that's pretty reasonable response time. My answer was again - no, it is only to be used to sell numismatically related items, as per the rules.
Now you guys are always free to discuss this kind of thing, but I'll tell you this - when it comes to the rules, member opinion on the subject isn't going to go very far. We set the rules up to make Coin Talk what it is, and that's how we want it. Apparently most of the members like it that way because Coin Talk has become the biggest and most popular, privately owned internet coin forum there is. And I am a strong believer in the old saying - if it aint broke, don't fix it. It obviously isn't broke.
Now Peter has repeatedly stated flat out that he is working on revamping the Open & Auction forums this year in order to make them more beneficial and advantageous to the members of this forum - purely for the benefit of the members. The purpose is to allow you guys to do things here that you have never been able to do before. I'll leave it at that for now.
But until that time comes - things stay as they are. Sorry, end of story. |
Yes. I realize it is obvious a camera isn't directly related to coins. Which is why I didn't even bother PMing you back. You said no. What you say goes. Then I read this topic and thought, "I have something to add to that"
I really am not in a huff about this at all.
