I think 'idea's' and comments on 'rules, are two different things. While the two might occaisionaly overlap, an idea on how to make the forum better with a suggestion on a board, and a suggestion on tweaking a rule will of course be looked at differently my the management.
In my experience, they DO listen to the ideas of us members. But while they are always looking at making the forum better, the base rules are theirs to make and enforce. I think they listen to all ideas - even those about possibly changing rules... but regardless, we follow the rules, or are free to leave (which of course we as memebrs hate to see happen!)
