Very nice piece. 1637-57 is when Ferdinand (see FERD III on the coin) was emperor of the HRE, so that time frame makes sense. Don't know much about coins from those days, but on the 1 gulden (28 stüber) coins from Emden that I have come across you would usually see "EMB" for the city name, and the CoA is a different one. Here are two from the times of Ferdinand II (the predecessor of F. III):

Problem is, I don't have any better suggestion as to where the coin is from ...
