the 2nd note does 'look' Russian. The letter characters have that look. It could be from any number of countries in the baltic region, as they all use similar characters (at least they alllook similar to me
)
When i get home, i will look in my books to see what i can find out about it. But i have the feeling some other folks who can read the note might be by before i get home
