Thanks for posting for pictures. Your photo of the 53-d is by far clearer than the one pictured in Wiles (I was able to locate a book by the way). Although to me the 53-d looks more like a rotated rpm rather than a horz. rpm. I'm looking at the inside of the "d" although it does has a small bulge of the the left-so perhaps it's horizontal, maybe a 53-d/d/horz. d. The 58-d does look like alot like the 46-d/horz d variety. I just got back from the Money Show in Portland and saw 3 42-d/horz d's. Two were in vg to fine and I was in AU. A didn't see any 46-d/horz d's though which I thought was a little odd since I've been able to find 4 by going thru bags of Jeffs. Maybe it's because the 42-d is listed in Red Book and the 46-d isn't so not as many people are aware of it. I couldn't even find and 41-S large s variety and I've found many of these (perhaps this variety was released in my area so their not as rare is in other parts of the country, anyway thanks again for the pics. of the 53-d I'll go back thru my bag for this date now that I know for sure what I'm looking for.
