They should use the Bald Eagle silver dollar has the basis for a $1 dollar coin. Keep the Sac composition, but make it bi-metal with a nickel clad center and the bronze rim. Wish someone could Photoshop it!!!

I like the Sac comp,but I don't think it ages well on the main center of the coins. Cost and look make sense, so I think think the bi-metal version would solve this and make a novel coin.
