There is a little part in the cash register specifically for foreign coins to be place, this is mainly filled with euros or eastern european coins.
However sometimes I discover coins such as the half crown and others in the little compartment. They must have been accepted by someone else only to be realised later as being out of date currency.

Also collected with no need to replace them are dozens of foreign coins from all over the world, including state quarters posing as 10 pences or Spanish 100 ptas posing as pound coins.


I prefer finding coins to buying them...it's cheaper
