Actually there are two different type coins recorded bearing Hitlers effigy. The first is a 100 reichsmark `pattern' dated 1933 in .333 gold. The other is a silver plated copper piece dated 1942, designed and minted by Karl Goetz in Berlin (only 4 pieces known). Both coin types appear in Krause's `Unusual World Coins'.
