Sorry...I have to respectfully disagree!

If I were to submit, I would defintely submit my coins to PCGS. Why? Because all things being equal (which is tough to do in numismatics), PCGS definitely realizes more dollars for their graded coins over NGC which realizes more dollars over ANACS which realizes more dollars over ICG. This is not a recent trend, but a trend that has lasted for YEARS with no signs of slowing down. Since we are all temporary custodians of our coins and they will definitely out live us, any coins that I deem necessary for submission should go to the service that realizes the highest prices in the event I have to sell. So submit your coins to the service that is the most "respected" in the numismatic free market community.

So after submission fees, S&H, etc., one of the reasons I submit grades for grading is for instant liquidity. I could pick up a phone and tell a dealer I have a slabbed coin. He will ask, "By whom?" Hands down, when I tell him it is a PCGS ____ coin, I will be able to sell it for higher dollars over the others. If I were to say it was slabbed by PCI, that same dealer would say, "Bring it in so I can look at it" and guess what? He is going to give me what ever grade PCI states less 2 to 4 MS points BID money!

Better yet, see for yourself...all things being equal! Heritage Galleries is one of my favorite places to research coins for past and current market prices. Go ahead and see your yourself. Here is a link to over 800,000 coin auctions with real PRICES REALIZED:
