I have been collecting all types of United States coins for more than 25 years. I have a little knowledge about a great many subjects, but not an enormous amount of knowledge about anything in particular, other than the U.S. Army that is.... Having said that, I am a career soldier in the United States Army. I have worked and earned my way up the ranks from Private to Major through my service on several battlefields around the globe.

I really love coins and can think of nothing more relaxing and joyful than sitting down with a pile of coins and looking them over, one by one. I guess you could say I am hooked.

My collection is fairly large, but with no real emphasis in any particular series. If I like a coin and it strikes that certain feeling that all coin collectors get, then I will pursue the coin. Sometimes I am successful and other times I am not, but I keep the coin in the back of my mind for future acquisition. I am proud of the collection I have been able to assemble and am honored to be the current care-taker of these coins.

I am associated with NGC, the ANA, I am an authorized submitter to CAC and I actively participate in several numismatic forums. I try to stay away from the 'politics' of coin collecting. My motto: "It is what it is!"
