I started playing pool in 1956, and over the years, I came to appreciate how a well-made custom cue helped to improve my game. Yes, you can get an inexpensive cue, but more often than not, it is poorly balanced and made with lower quality materials that just don't last. At one point I owned more than 3 dozen cues.
