You are welcome. I am glad that the information was helpful to you.

Thanks for all the info. It's been awhile since i've logged on but my search for silver art bars and interest has been growing. Just bought some more silver airplanes. Thanks again!

I will also be honest with you in that I am also a novice and I am still learning about certain '70's silver art bars. I have been buying '70's silver art bars for about 1 year not and I do not consider myself an expert on '70's silver art bars.
There is another forum member that collects '70's silver art bars and he has a silver art bar price guide. You might want to send a private message to this person for any additional information that he might have on this silver "Inverted Jenny" 1-oz silver art bar.
The forum member's name is orpheus72.

If you bought this silver art bar on ebay, then that $33.75 price is probably the lowest price that you will get on that silver art bar because I have seen this silver art bar priced higher than $35 on some ebay auctions. If you got it from a local dealer then you have paid too much for it IMO. The reason that I said that because usually local coin dealers will sell '70's silver art bars at the same price that regular .999 generic silver sells for based on my personal experience. Regular silver bullion dealers usually do not concern themselves with the "rarity" value of a silver bar. Since I do not see many of these "Invert Jenny" silver art bars, then you probably made a good move on getting one if that was the silver art bar that you are looking for. I try to buy my '70's silver art bars at the lowest price possible over spot silver. I also think that you should buy the silver art bars that you like. I love collecting '70's silver art bars too and it is fun for me.

There was also a U.S. postage stamp of the Inverted Jenny and that stamp is worth a lot from what I heard.

I am very sorry for taking a long time to respond to you. It has been a awhile since I have logged in on this forum. I do not have the "Inverted Jenny" silver art bar but I have seen one on ebay.

Sir, I have purchased a silver inverted jenny airplane bar and very green to collecting. Can you tell me the history of this piece and if is is worth the $35 spent? Thank you. Chris
