    Hi Sylvester,
I noticed that you collect coins from the early Medieval period, so I thought you might be interested to see a coin I have. I found a penny in my wife's grandad coin collection from Ipswich, England. Do you think it is an old Eadmund silver penny from the year 939 - 946 from a moneyer called DORY LFEM? It looks like its in mint condition, is very thin and measures about 21mm. Color is actually goldish or silverish with hues of blue. How can I verify that it is not a fake? Any idea of its value? Can you tell me anything else (or where I could find more info) about this coin or its moneyer? (You can see a photo of this coin in my "Eadmund penny" post in the coin chat forum)
