250$ in halves with one '64. But..

Also asked for "Big dollar coins". Got 4 '21 Morgans! hya:

Even the tellers were telling me that I scored on that one.

 

$500 in halves yielded 7 %40ers. Then the teller asked me if I had a dime. So I gave her one. She said here, this one is silver. Makes my day when they know it is silver and give it anyway.

$1000 in quarters.....nothing of course.

Working on 4 boxes of pennies and a box of nickels now.

 

Saving Additional Kennedy Halves

Since Kennedys have such low mintages, I intend to save all the AU and BU 2000s and some earlier dates. Someday down the line when Kennedys are no longer minted(perhaps in 2015 after 50 years), I would think other Kennedys would be collectible or investments. What do you think?

42 40%-ers in one box is crazy but:thumb:

 

It was my best box ever. One roll had 6 40%s in it; I nearly wet my pants when I saw the edges of them. I have found only 1 franklin (in several boxes) and no walkers yet...how does everyone else do with franks and walkers?

 

Have only found walkers one-time. Fortunately it was almost 2 rolls worth. Franklins I have come across from time to time, but still infrequent.

 

Did a box of nickels last night. 8 pre-1960s. one worn 1944-S. no buffalos.

 

Finally had a REALLY good box again. Box of halves:

one 1987
30 40%ers including several that were AU+

 

Bah. Can't wait til I get a box like that... congrats.

Another $250 gone through, came out with a '68D, 2 '69D's, an '87, and a 2004.

searched $20 in nickels, no war ones (i've never found one in circulation ), but i did fill a few holes. 10 more to go (including 2010, if they ever make them)! and i found 4 pre-1960s.

 

I just orderd a box of 1/2's from my bank. I got the normal crazy resopnse. I know this has been said a million times but I wish bank tellers would just do their jobs and not act like it is such a crazy thing. In no other busniess can a teller act shoked or rude to a customer and keep their job. Some are nice, and I always treat them with respect let people making deposits go infront of me, wait for a teller that is in good shape so that they can actually care my 4 boxes of X coin that I want, but It just makes me mad that they get away with being down right rude to people. IDK anyone else thoughts on this matter

 

Complain. They do it because they can get away with it. They get written up once or twice and they'll learn to STFU and do their jobs. Or fired, take your pic.
