Box of nickels yielded 2 buffalo's (1935 & no date) and 4-1939s, 35-1940s, & 50-1950s. Best find of all was the elusive 1950-D (my first!!).

Also got 2 more boxes of shield pennies and 2 BOXES OF HOT SPRINGS QUARTERS!!!

Not a roll find, but on my daily walk today I found a brand new shield penny. It's a beauty, except it looks like somebody burned an incense on the backside.

    14th box, 14th roll.....It's over.

That sigh of relief you heard 3 minutes ago was me. On the 14th box, the 14th roll of that box contained a 1967 40% silver half dollar.

Whew! My longest shutout streak is finally over.

I'll report the rest of the box later. I'm going to pause to do a little jig, climb to the peak of my roof and shout "Yipeee."

Final report on the box was 4 40%ers. There was a time when I would think that this type of find in a box was nice but nothing special, but I'm thrilled to find anything at this point.

    :D

Rolled through $80 worth of halfs and pulled another '64 out.

Got enough bicentennials to make a whole roll, haha. They must have produced those en masse.

Yep, just looked... over 500 million, damn.

Just found out a bank about 3 miles down the street from my house has over $5k in halfs! Looks like I have a plan...

Just take a few to start, you never know if they are someone else's rejects :(

Possible... I was talking to one of their employee's over the phone and she was asking exactly how many I wanted and stuff... took a bit of work to get her to tell me how many they had... said they weren't picked up by someone who had ordered them a couple years ago.

Oh, and I'm picking up $250 on my way home. Going up to my girlfriends in north Jersey this weekend, so I'll dump them up there, haha.

I was wondering what that was.....Anyway 4 boxes searched from yesterday and today......yeilded nothing. Then 3 customer rolls yeilded 7 40%ers. One of them was a proof.

Searched another box of halves today.
    1 40%er and a pretty nice 1988 S proof.

$250 yielded nothing... Thinking that those $5k are rejects...
