    Looks like a die cast and plated replica that was made ca. the 1950's or 1960's.

    yes it is clearly a cast. but it clearly not the same. look at the tree closer.

    He's not being rude, he's rephrasing his comment so that you understand that the coin is a fake.

    Sorry marc, I came across wrong back there. I wouldn't have even chimed in, but I once (the sucker that I was) bought a cast colonial coin that has exactly the same surface texture as yours.

    thanks for your input. but they just dont look the same to me. the dots on the tree are different. they are not line up the same. and the edge of that replica looks ridgged. mine is not.

    It all depends on how you take it--I've read all of the comments and haven't seen any that could be called rude.
    They are trying to be kind in telling you that your coin is fake.
