    Morgan Dollar 1880-S MS-64
    Starting a Morgan short set... here's my start. Obviously, it wasn't a difficult coin to find. I love the design on Morgans. :) This coin fit my budget.

    Bill, that 81-S is sickly sweet. Looks DPL on the reverse. The obverse blue toning must really pop!

    Thanks is even better in hand does have quite a bit of pl characteristics both sides and it's got the usual 81-s great strike is a ms 64 ogh is probably a 65 today as it's really clean. Just got it last weekends s&b Internet weekly sale. only problem is some moron left fingerprints all over the obverse I wish there was something I could do about it

    Erm... date looks like 1882, not 1881 and I can't find a VAM-20 with a broken wing... do I have to read btw the lines? :)

    Vam number could be wrong didn't look it up.

    1882 Morgan dollar above is a Vam 1G die scratched Rev according to Vam by date site.

    Weren't Morgans 100 years before I was born as I was born 38 years ago to the day just trade dollars no wonder I like them much better then the bicentennial coins
