I wouldn't be surprised if they had them on the show next week.

In the past they've done presales, carefully avoiding showing the date or mint mark. I'm curious how they'll handle faking a whole new coin finish.

 

They will probably get the artwork from the mint itself. I'm sure if they bought enough, the mint would be happy to supply it.

Well, mine still says backordered.....expected to ship 6/17. I thought by now that they would have at least moved my order to mid-July.

 

Without sounding like a rabid fan-boy - The photos supplied from the coin show are not meant to be perfection, nor flattery ( correct me if I'm wrong )

I don't know about that. My order was done at 12:03 and about 400 or so before yours, so we were in about as early as possible. Now, if we get the spiraled metal fastener job and they send out all the dealer orders before the consumer orders, then my opinion is worth less than what I charge for it on here.

 

Well, the reason why I mention it is because I thought I was in early with the UHR and that order kept getting pushed back again and again. I got the bloody book before I got the coin........

 

Out of curiosity, were they almost all delayed, or just a few?

I wonder how that reverse proof buff will look and do. I'm sure they won't sell the volume in dollars as this silver set, but will we see delayed delivery issues with that like the UHR

I could imagine the hootin' and hollerin' if some were sold....

My expected shipping date is 6/17 too.

My other order, for the uncirc dollar sets moves out one day each morning (it's now May 27th or 28th).

They were all delayed around two weeks but the TPG's wouldn't extend their early release or first strike programs. I believe the reason was, you could walk into the mint and receive a set if purchased there. If you didn't get your UHR in two weeks after actual shipping took place, you wouldn't qualify for those programs because of the 30 day window.
