Bought this raw, had it certified, then re-holdered and TrueViewed a couple of days ago. Believe it or not, it's the first Mercury dime I've ever owned! Shows some pretty dramatic strike doubling as well!
Captain's log, star date August 2nd. It's been four days since we have had a toned coin posted and quite frankly I do not know how much longer I can take this. I long to see the rainbow toning of a 1970 s proof cent or a nicely toned Morgan Dollar. Someone please, please post a toned coin. I don't know who much longer I can take this madness................................................Please even a toned ASE. Anything!!!! Oh the humanity!
What do ya’ll think this one should grade? The black mark on the stern sail is much lighter in hand and appears to be a bag mark. It’s currently in an old NGC holder and I’ll tell you after some input what it’s graded. I will tell you it is mint state. And, thanks Ken for the photo tips!
1956 Dream :devil:I wish was mine, but a very good buddy just pick this one up.he may win best toned Washington set in the Comp game
