This is always a popular type of thread. Starting today through Wednesday Aug 1, post 1909 Lincoln cents in any condition/grade, mint mark, errors and varieties. Again, we'll post 1909's until this Wednesday until everyone catches up with the thread and then we'll do the 1910 pieces on Thursday. 1911 on Friday, 1912 on Saturday...you get the picture. This is such a popular series, so the aim is to become familiarized with each date, what makes it special, any varieties that exist. Great for newbies, and hopefully this will incentivize collectors at all levels to find or buy some really nice pieces. Here's the nice cache of 1909's I pulled out of a bag of Wheat Cents back in March, 31 in all!
I agree, I think we've been long overdue for a thread where every type of collector can post and show off. Nice pair of 09's, original.
Here's a 1909 I have in an album I found, some sort of penny/stamp history thing called "Diamond Jubilee Treasury". Can't take a pic of the reverse, it's wedged in there and I don't want to touch it at the moment.
As always, I look forward to Lance's amazing pieces. Glad you have some spare time to display some, thanks!
That is unusual, I see lots of Eliasburg Sr. coins, but rarely do you see junior's. Thanks for displaying this one!

From my Dansco. Hopefully this goes on page two. I thought mine were pretty decent coins but I can't compete with the first page. Whew, those are some nice ones!
I wouldn't worry about that d.t., those are some good looking pieces you have there. I don't even have an "s" minted 1909 yet.
