1936 Buffalo Nickel

    mycoins 008.jpg mycoins 010.jpg can anyone tell me what grade this is and how much its worth? im guessing its a VG-10 to a F-12, may be a little less than VG-10?

    I'd say VG8 - VG10, most details lost and the bull horn is just flattened looking at the pictures. Still a nice coin no matter. :)

    awesome!glad to hear i wasnt far off gradewise, i used pcgs photograde. great way to grade coins!

    A better way to grade coins is compare it several others of same year, mint, and condition, that are certified by a reputable TPG.

    You'll see so much more in hand than from a photo online.

    As far as value, $1-$1.50, these a very common.

    Adjust your light source a tad. A bit too much reflection around the rim off the Native American's chin, and off the buffalo's hump. Other than that, not bad.
