you know one of the amazing things about me finding my 1988 D RDV-006 is the I have a co worker that says he is a "coin collector" but all he collects are beat up wheat's and he is mad that I search all the rolls at my work. So he try's to use the rolls I haven't searched to get the wheat's before I do. So I lucked out getting this roll before he gave it out as change to customers.

I was thinking of giving him a roll of wheat's and telling him thanks for leaving me the good stuff.

 

i'm right there with you. if coins could talk, just imagine the stories they could tell... it's probably the biggest part of collecting for me... THE HISTORY!

He is one of those people that thinks old and beat up means its worth money.( I have tried to tell him age doesn't really mean anything on value )and keeps his collection in an old ice cream bucket he keeps in his car. he also pulls anything he thinks is silver. he had like 2 rolls worth of 64 nickels and he didn't like it when I told him they are not silver.

 

I would only give up my nasty wheat's LOL
