While recently going through a baggie full of Jefferson nickels that were still in their original mint packaging ( cut out from sets) I found a 1981P with the mintmark tipped quite well over to the right. This was looking at the coin as straight on as possible with the bust straight up. Is this an error or was this common for the year/mint? Thanks for any help. | Senior Member | |
