Today I had some extra money so I stopped at a local bank and picked $10 in pennies. (They came in a box from the Pennsylvania mint although they weren't new at all. Well, I have finally devoted myself to collecting coins. It's no longer just a small hobby. My collection is still very small. If I recall correctly, I have coins from 21 different countries (103 different types) and 145 total. I hope to at least double my collection in the next few months. Since I am low on money, I will be focusing on hunting rolls of pennies and sorting through them to find some wheaties, steelies, etc. I still have to research some more on what else ...

If I were director of the mint I would issue the first and lowest minted Silver American Eagle Proof with a Denver mint mark! This would be unique and highly prized for anyone collection, not only because it would be the only one in the series to be minted at the Denver mint, but because of its rarity! The most inviting decision would have to be whether to make this proof a reverse proof, or just a regular one! Actually the thought ...of having a Denver minted reverse proof is really exciting, so ...
