Today, after going threw just a few rolls of pennies--I found my first toned coin! I have found a few that were slightly toned, but this one is a prime example. (If you can't make out the date, it is a 2011)

Today I had some extra money so I stopped at a local bank and picked $10 in pennies. (They came in a box from the Pennsylvania mint although they weren't new at all. So now I have a box that says $250 in dimes). I had high hopes and thought I would get some good pennies--but I was mistaken. However, I did get some decent pennies. Until today, I had a very small penny collection so I got what I could from the rolls.

I thought I'd share some pictures with all of you of my collection. All of these coins are circulated. The 2 Dimes and Pennies were found at a local gas station! I have several other silver quarters, but this one is hands down the best of the best. As for the Eisenhower dollar, it was one of my first coins Enjoy!

Well, I have finally devoted myself to collecting coins. It's no longer just a small hobby.

My collection is still very small. If I recall correctly, I have coins from 21 different countries (103 different types) and 145 total. I hope to at least double my collection in the next few months.

Since I am low on money, I will be focusing on hunting rolls of pennies and sorting through them to find some wheaties, steelies, etc. I still have to research some more on what else ...
