Hello To All,
I recently purchased a 1969-D Jefferson which has over half the steps on it!
Seller claims 4+Steps! Seeing as how it would be almost impossible to find in a True Full Five Step, I grabbed it! I know Pcgs an Ngc wouldn't even consider putting almost fs on their holders. So I called in to Anacs, they only put 5 or more steps on the Label-holder. Didn't want ICG,I had terrible business' with them in the past/So , I called in to SEGS , the lady said no problem, we can put the # of steps on it for you, no problem!
(If it wasn't for this date, I'd probably bypass all of this, however' with this being "THE RAREST' IN THE JEFF-SERIES, BEIN> IN A FULL-STEP!" I quickly went back to Ben Nagengast's, Jefferson Analyst Book in which he states, that it is even Very Rare' with more than half the steps on this coin. I also added in the fact, that there are a couple Sellers out on ebay now, that have these incredibly rare dates with SEGS Cert- asking $295 to $495 an Up! Just haven't ever seen one with a 1969-D yet!
I'm not doing this for the money, just wanting to get as close as I can on this
(69-D) as I can. A (1 in a 10,000) in FS! /So, getting as close as I could without breaking the bank, with at least half of the steps being there? SEGS, not the Top Grading-Service, but I would think they have Graders there knowledgable enough to know an' label this, a (almost full-step).I thought it'd be awesome havin this one particularly being the King of the Series in a Certified Holder showing all this.
Seller wrote this> HIGH GRADE =+ 4+ STEPS+ STEPS 4=2=5=6--VERY RARE WITH FULL STEPS NICE SHARP STRIKE,HARD TO GET IN HIGHER GRADES Once, I get this in the mail, I'll try to put a photo up for all to see...
Everyone have a Great-Day! Jim/Chasindreams
